Hey there, folks! I'm Abhishek Indupally, or Shake as some of my friends like to call me. I grew up as an expat in Saudi Arabia, but I'm originally from India. Currently, I live in the United States, where I am pursuing my graduate studies. As a dedicated researcher at Clemson University's Department of Mechanical Engineering, affiliated with the CEDAR group, I focus on developing innovative solutions to contemporary design challenges. Join me on this engaging journey!
This page is a little self-centered; it’s all about me. Hopefully, you’ll find it interesting, though 🙂.
My values and morals, deeply rooted in my faith in Christ, drive every aspect of my life.
The movie Cars is my ALL-TIME favorite. This movie and the TV show with three Brits influenced my obsession with Formula 1.
I hold a peculiar talent: I can clap impressively fast - if you get a chance to meet me, ask me to clap.
At the tender age of three, I had my fifteen minutes of fame when a national newspaper featured me for my ability to identify countries and car models solely by their flags and designs.
I'm the human equivalent of hitting 'reply all' by accident: unexpected, occasionally awkward, but usually entertaining.
You can find me away from work:
1. Jamming out to some CityAlight, Sovereign Grace or Shane & Shane tunes, attempting to hit the high notes and failing spectacularly (but with enthusiasm)
2. Reading my Bible and praying—sometimes deeply contemplative, sometimes just me rambling to God like an open journal.
3. Watching racing (F1, WEC) and car spotting — proof that my interest in vehicles extends well beyond MATLAB and CAD.
Researcher, Designer, and Strategist! Beyond my craft, I thrive on nurturing personal development and cultivating meaningful connections with others. Here are a few snapshots of the beautiful life, wonderful friends and crazy moments the LORD has blessed me with!
